Application and registration procedure (transfer students)

INSTRUCTION

FOR TRANSFERRING STUDENTS FROM OTHER HIGHER EDUCATION
INSTITUTIONS TO THE FACULTY OF MEDICINE FOČA

-Excerpt from the Medical Faculty Statute-
The right to transfer to a corresponding study program of the Medical Faculty may be granted
to students from other university faculties within the country and abroad, except for transfers
into the first and final years of study.
The application for transfer must be submitted no later than the start of the new academic
year.
Within 7 days of receiving the application for transfer from a study program at another higher
education institution, the Dean makes a decision approving the initiation of the transfer
procedure (in accordance with the faculty’s spatial and organizational capabilities) and forms
a commission for the recognition of completed exams.
Based on the proposal from the report on the work of the appointed commission, the Faculty
Council makes a decision regarding the recognition of exams and enrollment in the
appropriate year of study, or a decision not to approve the transfer.
The Faculty Council’s decision on this matter is final.
The student/candidate must submit the following with the online transfer application:

  • Request on transfer signed by the candidate;
  • A certificate of completed exams from the home faculty (stamped and signed by the
    responsible person from the faculty);
  • A certified copy of the student booklet/academic record (if applicable);
  • The curriculum and study plan certified by the home faculty and
  • Syllabi of courses that have been completed and attended, certified by the home
    faculty.
    Upon approval of enrollment at the Faculty of Medicine Foča, the candidate is required to
    submit the requested documentation for the student record and pay the fees in accordance
    with the applicable regulations.
