Dr Pavlović Dragana

Dear students, future colleagues! I am Dragana Pavlović (Dragičević). I currently live and work in Saint Petersburg, in Russia. I enrolled the Faculty of Medicine Foča after finished highschool of economics – which means that I absolutely did not possess any medical background. Systematized teaching and wonderful professors, whose lectures and pedagogical approach inspired us to become good people and good doctors, and, at the same time, helped many of us to graduate from the Faculty of Medicine and become ready to affirm ourselves in the most incredible jobs and environments, as well as to continue our life-long learning process. While I was still studying, I had the opportunity to work as a student demonstrator at the Department of Pathology; I was involved in the HIV prevention project; I was the TEMPUS programme participant of a summer surgical practice in Heidelberg… The wide range of my interests altogether with the Faculty of Medicine in Foča, provided an excellent basis for my further development, both practical and scientific. The acqired knowledge helped me to responsibly grapple with clinical practice and help people in my country. The desire to continue my studies took me to St. Petersburg, where I learned Russian and completed my postgraduate studies. I worked in the sector of preclinical and clinical research, then in the scientific-methodological sector of the University Hospital #40 in St. Petersburg, as the clinical base of St. Petersburg State University. I practice as a specialist in the field of somnology, neurophysiology. The ability to meet every challenge in medicine is the result of the quality of the theoretical base, which I have gained thanks to my professors at the Faculty of Medicine in Foča, then St. Petersburg. We became a Covid hospital during the pandemic, so I have established myself in the area of biostatistics. Because of the reasons above, I wish you to dream big and to achieve your goals and dreams! The point in which your ambitions and acquired knowledge meet is the very point of your professional and private success! All the best in your future studies, life and work! I am completely sure that your sincere intentions to make this world a healthier and happier place to live will come true!
Sincerely yours,
