Representatives of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of East Sarajevo, prof. dr Irena
Mladenović, asst. prof. Nenad Marković and teaching assistant Dragan Spaić attended the initial
meeting of the Erasmus+ project entitled “Strengthening capacities and digital competences in
biomedical education through internationalization at home”, abbreviated as BIOSINT. The meeting
was held at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the University of Kragujevac, and the following project
partners attended the meeting:

The University of East Sarajevo is one of the higher education institutions from the Western Balkans
that will actively participate in all work activities, and will be the leader of work package 4. At the
meeting, project partners were introduced, obligations and responsibilities, both legal and financial,
were appointed, staff were appointed to the project consortium and the executive board, work
packages with activities and outcomes per work packages, administrative procedures, risk
management plan, as well as communication plan.
The next meeting will be held at the University of Montenegro in Podgorica after the
implementation of the activities of work package 2.
