NOSTRIFICATION
RECOGNITION OF FOREIGN SCHOOL DIPLOMAS AND CERTIFICATES- NOSTRIFICATION AND EQUIVALENCE
Nostrification and equivalence is the procedure of recognition of a primary or secondary school diploma or a certificate of a completed particular grade of primary or secondary school in a foreign country.
The right to initiate the procedure for nostrification or recognition of equivalence of a foreign school diploma is held by a citizen of the Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina who has graduated from school or completed a particular grade of school, as well as a foreign citizen and a stateless person if they have a legal interest.

The required documents:
- a certified copy of a diploma;
- a certified copy of a certificate for all the grades completed in a foreign country or other school document (a report card);
- a certificate issued by the competent Ministry or by any other educational institution from the country of origin of a diploma, confirming that a particular secondary school lasts four years and that the holder of its diploma can enroll in higher education;
- translation by a certified interpreter.
