Official Languages: The Contest will be conducted in Russian and English.
The Contest consists of three stages:
«Clinical Reasoning Assessment»
- Conducted individually via the university’s distance learning system (link sent by email).
- Participants solve 60 case-based tasks within 60 minutes.
«Practical Skills in Simulated Conditions»
- Conducted individually using a virtual screen-based simulator on the RUMEDIUS software-hardware platform (link sent by email).
- Participants solve three clinical scenarios in a virtual simulation environment within 60 minutes (20 minutes per case).
«Multilevel Clinical Case – Patient Code» (final results of this stage are not included in the winner’s protocol):
- Conducted individually via the university’s distance learning system (link sent by email).
- Participants work on a clinical case of an emergency patient with complaints.
- 12 minutes per case.

Applications for participation must be submitted by March 7, 2025, 17:00 (Moscow time) via the provided link.
Before the Contest begins, participants will have the opportunity to take a practice test to familiarize themselves with the platform and electronic resources.
The Contest will take place online from March 25 to March 27, 2025, consisting of three stages:

To access the tasks, participants must use the login credentials sent to their registered email.
Stage 1: «Clinical Reasoning Assessment»
- Conducted individually through the university’s distance learning system (link sent by email).
- Participants must solve 60 case-based tasks in 60 minutes.
Stage 2: «Practical Skills in Simulated Conditions»
- Conducted individually using the RUМЕДИУС virtual screen-based simulator (link sent by email).
- Participants must complete 3 clinical scenarios in a virtual simulation environment within 60 minutes (20 minutes per case).
Stage 3: «Multilevel Clinical Case – Patient Code» (Optional – results do not affect the winners’ ranking)
- Conducted individually through the university’s distance learning system (link sent by email).
- Participants work on an emergency clinical case.
- 12 minutes per case.

Participants will receive the following via email at least two days before the Contest:
- Link to the opening ceremony broadcast
- Login credentials for Stage 1 (Clinical Reasoning Assessment)
- Login credentials for Stage 2 (Virtual Patient Simulation)
- Login credentials for Stage 3 (Multilevel Clinical Case – Patient Code)
- Link to the results announcement and closing ceremony broadcast
- Login credentials for assessment and practical tasks will be available before the Contest to allow participants to practice using the system.
Participants will have access to practice case-based tasks and clinical scenarios similar to the competition tasks.
For web-based access to the virtual simulator, participants must have a stable internet connection (laptop or computer) or the simulator installed on an iOS or Android device. Instructions for connecting to the system will be sent via email.

Winners’ Selection Process
Technical support is available via the Telegram channel.
After each stage, participants’ results will be compiled into summary tables and ranked based on total points. The final score is determined by the participant’s ranking position. The maximum possible score equals the total number of participants in that stage. The minimum score is 1. A ranking table is generated based on the total score from all Contest tasks.
IMPORTANT:
Participation in Stage 3 («Multilevel Clinical Case – Patient Code») is optional and at the participant’s discretion. Results of this stage do not affect the winners’ ranking.
Awards & Recognition
Winners (Diploma I degree) and prize-winners (Diploma II and III degrees) are determined based on the final ranking table.
Winners are selected in five categories: Vocational education students, 4th-year students, 5th-year students, 6th-year students, Residents
Each category awards:
Diploma I degree – 1 participant Diploma II degree – 2 participants Diploma III degree – 3 participants
If participants receive equal scores, the winner is determined based on their performance in Stage 1 («Clinical Reasoning Assessment»).
The organizers and co-organizers reserve the right to introduce additional nominations.
Document Verification
Within 3 working days after results are announced, winners must confirm their status by submitting scanned copies of their enrollment documents to imot@szgmu.ru. Failure to provide valid documents will result in disqualification, and the ranking table will be recalculated accordingly. Diplomas are awarded only after document verification. The official list of winners will be published on the Contest Results page.
Contest Results
The official results will be published on March 29, 2025.
