The Faculty of Medicine Foča, University of East Sarajevo, had the honour of hosting the Consul and representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of India in Hungary.

During the visit, the Embassy representatives held a meeting with the Faculty management, where they discussed the successful cooperation to date, as well as opportunities for its further development, particularly in light of the significant number of Indian students enrolled at the Faculty.

Currently, approximately 400 students from India are studying at the Faculty of Medicine Foča, making it an important hub for international medical education in the region.

A special segment of the visit was dedicated to a meeting with students, during which Indian students organised a cultural and entertainment programme, showcasing elements of their rich heritage, including traditional music and dance. This event further strengthened intercultural exchange and fostered a sense of community between students and guests.

At the end of the visit, a consular camp was organised, providing students with the opportunity to directly communicate with Embassy representatives, address administrative matters, and receive important information regarding consular services.

This visit marks another step forward in strengthening international cooperation and reaffirms the Faculty’s commitment to supporting its international student community.
