Representatives of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of East Sarajevo, dean prof. dr Dejan
Bokonjić and coordinator for international cooperation asst. prof. Nenad Marković, together with
the representative of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering asst. prof. Nikola Davidović and the
representative of the Faculty of Business Economics asst. prof. Suzana Marković participated in a
study visit to Germany, to the Duale Hochschule Baden-Wurttemberg Heilbronn (DHBW) as part of
the Erasmus plus project “Strengthening capacity for the implementation of dual education in the
higher education of Bosnia and Herzegovina”.
During the first day, project participants had the opportunity to visit the factory in Heilbronn where
AUDI cars are manufactured. The AUDI forum was also visited, and on this occasion, after various
presentations, the participants had the opportunity to discuss the functioning of dual studies and
the relationship between students – mentors – workers. On the same day, Schwarz Gruppe, PreZero,
which includes Kaufland and Lidl, was visited.
During the second day, Health Sciences at DHBW Stuttgart was visited as a specific form of health
dual studies that is realized in the German province of Baden Württemberg, then DHBW Center for
Simulation Games/Simulation Games, and DHBW Stuttgart/Engineering study program
Electronics/Automation.
During the third day, the participants stayed at the Duale Hochschule Baden-Wurttemberg in
Heilbronn, where they had the opportunity to learn more about the concept of dual studies in
Germany and the dual master’s courses that are implemented in this institution. A project
consortium meeting was held where the project progress was discussed with all partners, after
which the study visit ended.
Contact was also made between our Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Health Studies of the
Duale Hochschule Baden-Wurttemberg Heilbronn (DHBW), with whom we discussed future
cooperation and mobility of students and teachers.
